michael jackson creeped me out. but what i love is the jackson 5 videos. i really really really really really wish he would've like...not been gay or mental, whatever, and stayed NORMAL. he'd be so much cooler, and probably ALIVE if he DID. so here's to you, your highness, king of pop.

wasn't he just so happy and full of life back then? man i wish i would've been born about 40 years earlier than i was.

sigh.

i'm sad. because today is the switchfoot bro-am and i live thousands of miles away. and most of my boardie friends are over there hangin with switchfoot. i'm trying to be all *happy for them* but it's hard. blehhahlajioiaoyraeu. i hope they all have/had fun. i don't think i'll be on the tags all day this year because um no one's there. hah. i'm gonna go see if michael jackson videos are on mtv all day again.

you've probably noticed my newfound country-ish music.

and its SO WEIRD because i don't tend to listen to anything NEAR the country category, but i love sara watkins and fiction family, so i dedicated this playlist to them for the time being.

i'm planning on buying sara's album soon because i just love her so much.

more fiction family showness! sara opened up for them, and she sang this beautiful song called "my friend" which is also in the playlist down there at the bottom of the page, but it was even better at the show because it was PERFECT and SAD and it was just her voice and the ukelele. it almost made me cry. here's the video i took. and no zoom. i was that close *remembers and smiles*

after that, sean came out, they sang some songs together, then jon came out and sang "all this time" with them. the 3 part harmony was so beautiful. i didn't take a video of that because i was like....jon. is 5 feet. away from me. and singing. and i was trying not to cry for that one too. ahah. you can listen to that song on my playlist though.

fiction family.

i saw fiction family in concert last night. it was quite amazing. i am suffering from PCD today, though. [post concert depression.] if you haven't experienced this before, you may laugh and think it's funny or stupid, but it's actually real and wow. just. wow. it's horrible.

ANYWAY--i just wanted to share some wonderful pictures and a story.

STORY TIME. i knew that jon liked to wear a fedora during the song "please don't call it love" and when he asked for a "funky-town hat" i jumped up and handed him mine. now here's the wonderful performance :D my camera finally decided to take a pretty decent video.

for those of you who didn't know, switchfoot has recorded an album called "hello hurricane" which is planned to release this fall.

anyway, this awesome guy named stephen covered their song "hello hurricane" and it's INCREDIBLE. while you're at it, watch some of his other videos. this guy is talented. doesn't he remind you of jason dunn? ha. i think so.

my crazy thursday/friday/saturday i suppose.

HAHA. ok thursday i spent the night with my good friend alex. at her house is where i participated in some incredibly amazing events.

• playing the disney sing it wii game for an HOUR and losing my voice
• eating probably the best spaghetti ever
• participating in taekwondo [if that's how you even spell that]
• jumping on a trampoline nonstop from 9:30 to 11:00 pm in the dark in the pouring rain in a swimsuit
• getting my nails painted green
• watched hsm 3 for the first time
• played wonderful game show dvd games

yes. that was so much fun. my voice is finally coming back. hahahah.

as for other great things that happened this weekend... i got nova's letter in the mail today, i signed up for summer reading, i ate at the flounder, i saw jenson for the first time since november and gave him a hug---OH HAHA. funny story. well, not that funny, but it was like:

jenson: LEE!

me: *looks* he-e-e-ey! [my voice was still all daklgjioawjiaow]

jenson: *pre-hi-five status*

me: gi-i-i-ive m-e-e a hu-ug *hug*

have you ever wondered where i got the idea for the title of my blog? well since i installed the music player, you've probably figured it out by now, but if you haven't, it's okay. :)

it came from a song called...."inside outside"!!! hahah. it's by a group called delirious? and yes, the question mark is part of their name. the band is coming to an end, and they're going on a final tour that is pretty much in europe, so hahaha. here's their site. http://delirious.co.uk/html

well, uh this morning i felt terrible. i took a shower, then i just laid on my bed with wet hair for like 30 minutes. then i finally got up and then i decided that maybe i should eat something. then i ate yogurt very slowly while i watched stuff on tv. now i feel better.

that was boring. haha. i like blogging about snacks better. maybe i'll get better at this someday.
